MEET THE ARTIST
Hey there!
I'm Angelis Vaca, the artist behind ArtViva Events! I was born in Long Island, New York, and ever since I was a young girl I had a strong connection with painting and drawing. I gained my love for art from my Mother, a painter. I am an award winning artist and specialize in realistic paintings from live weddings and events to commissioned studio work.
I personally find so much joy in capturing the most happiest memories in people's lives to be immortalized and cherished in my paintings. There is nothing more gratifying when my clients are moved by my work and are proud to showcase my pieces in their homes.
I currently reside in New Jersey where I work out of my personal art studio creating commissioned pieces and my own personal collection of paintings.
Fine Art Training
I acquired classical art education at The Florence Academy of Art where I was able to study at the highest levels of figurative painting under the mentorship of various prominent painters where I received my CFA. With multiple winning Fine Art pieces, I had the privilege of having one of my pieces sold to the collection of the FAA in Florence, Italy. Later in 2017, I was accepted at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Intensive Master Copyist Program which was a surreal experience and an absolute privilege to partake in.
